The safety scheme at the A1 Elkesley junction in Nottingham was improved, and connectivity across the village was enhanced through a comprehensive scheme. Approximately 40,000 vehicles used this busy junction daily, making the upgrades crucial for the area. The project successfully improved safety, reduced journey times, and eased congestion. A two-level junction was constructed on the A1 northwest of Elkesley, featuring a new road bridge over the A1. Additionally, Alpha 1 Construction completed all associated utilities and drainage work across the site, including pipework, gullies, catch pits, and headwalls.
