This project involved constructing an area designated for the set-down of cabins, power generation, and welfare facilities. The complete treatment plant was decommissioned, and all redundant metal waste apparatus and concrete structures were removed, with the area compacted afterward. Drilling and pressure grouting were supervised to neutralise volatile gases, fill voids, and stabilise the sub-structure. Large and small diameter surface water and sewer systems, as well as MDPE plumbing mains, were installed site-wide.

As part of the community-focused elements of the project, the existing nature reserve was carefully revised and enhanced, with improved pathways, replanting of native species, and habitat restoration to encourage biodiversity and provide a welcoming space for local residents and wildlife alike.

Finally, the entire area was landscaped, including the removal of welfare facilities and the landscaping of the laydown areas.
